dear sisters,

Brothers, let us come together
Walking in the Spirit, there’s much to be done…
We will come reaching, out from our comforts
And they will know us by our love…

Sisters, we were made for kindness
We can pierce the darkness as He shines through us…
We will come reaching, with a song of healing…
And they will know us by our love!

The time is now
Come Church arise…
Love with His hands
See with His eyes…
Bind it around you,
Let it never leave you,
And they will know us by our love…

Children, You are hope for justice,
Stand firm in the Truth now, set your hearts above
You will be reaching, long after we’re gone,
And they will know you by your love!

Dear sisters, daughters, friends, moms, wives, leaders,

this is a call to action; A public service announcement. we were called to be a reflection of Christ on the earth. We are called to hold the answer for the worlds hurts and anguishes and though in and of ourselves we are not perfect but there should be something of peace, of rest….of … NO CRAZYTOWN. we are hurting our friends, our brothers by not obeying christ and leaning on him for our strength, by not turning to him for our guidance, for action plans, for a new will, a new mind and a new mouth. And though God is gracious to save us repeatedly. Let us be careful to remember his tenets and carry his name with the dignity it deserves. I’m disheartened after hearing story after story of our beautiful God fearing men, men i Love, who have been jacked up, for lack of a better word, by women who should know better. Women of God, this is a call to action. stop. think. ask God to heal those broken places. and instead of perpetuating the hurt, lets help call each other up. Let us be the ones to whom the broken, tattered and bruised can come and find God. Let us be women who love. women who are kind. women at rest. women who are humble. women who build and trust and forgive. women who are called by HIS name. funny. gracious. bodacious. bad to the bone. we should be the rule. the norm and not, as i’m often finding, the exception.

Love,

your sister

note: i am quite aware of the junk our boys do as well which they are called out on all the time.
